Ownership - OpenHouse Direct Inc., and its division Health Fairs Direct, are a privately held corporation. The owners do not own or work for a doctor’s office or an insurance brokerage house. We are proud to be the Only Independently-Owned Professional Corporate Health & Wellness Event Coordinator in the New York Area which also offers National Service Capabilities.
Independence - Health Fairs Direct has no allegiance with any of our exhibitors or medical providers. So we are free to work with, or more importantly, not work with any exhibitor at any time. This allows us to keeps our standards high as we are working for the best interest of our corporate clients, not our exhibitors.
Code of Conduct - Health Fairs Direct has a strict 10 point exhibitor code of conduct that each exhibitor must adhere to before, during and after each event. We do not allow solicitation, stalking, wandering around facilities, leaving events early, or any other non-professional conduct from any of our exhibitors.
Legal Protection - Since Health Fairs Direct is independently owned we protect your company from the implied endorsement of inviting in your own medical professionals, or working with a doctor-owned health fair company. Corporations have found themselves in the middle of malpractice litigation because they “selected” their own doctors and did not work with an independently-owned event coordination company.
100% In-Network Medical Providers - Health Fairs Direct is the only company in the industry that will guarantee 100% in-network medical providers for all of our events.
Flexibility - If through our selection process we determine that there are no eligible medical providers for a specific topic or if we just do not find a suitable exhibitor for any specific topic, Health Fairs Direct will not represent that topic at the employee health fair.
Health Fair Provider Due Diligence – All corporations have policies and procedures to protect themselves when they hire new employees. I have not seen too many corporations that apply the same level of Due Diligence when they select their health fair provider.
Many questions need to be answered, and confirmed, before you choose your health fair provider to ensure that you and your company are not taken advantage of or left exposed. Questions such as: 1) Who owns the health fair company and what is their purpose for wanting to get into your company to run an event? 2) How many years have they been in business? 3) Are they properly insured...
The National Health Fair Coalition produced a 12 point Due Diligence Health Fair Provider Checklist that you can get for free. Just ask your Health Fairs Direct representative for a free copy.
I just wanted to express my gratitude for the wonderful job Health Fairs Direct did at our health and wellness fair. Everything was well planned and ran very smoothly. Our employees could not have been happier with the fair and I could not have been happier with Open House Direct.
You were right, our previous health fair provider turned out to be a doctors office. Our CEO was very pleased with our decision to work with Health Fairs Direct.
